What we do
Three capabilities. One team
Three specialisations most operators have to source from three different contractors. Eden Industries runs all three in-house, so the high voltage work, the fixed plant and the mobile fleet are handled by people who talk to each other.
Electrical contracting
The majority of what we do day to day: designing, installing, testing and commissioning the electrical systems a site runs on. That ranges from a single distribution board through to a full plant installation with engineered drawings, hazardous area equipment and a commissioning program behind it.
Delivered as one scope rather than a set of packages, so the drawings match what was built and the test records match the drawings.

High voltage
High voltage work carries no margin for approximation. A termination built slightly wrong will hold under test and fail under load, and on a mine site that failure takes production with it. Eden Industries built its reputation in the Bowen Basin on getting this work right the first time.
Secondary and primary testing of high voltage protection relays, circuit breaker testing and transformers all form part of our testing capabilites. Services from 1kV to 66kV, with the same team terminating the cable, testing and issuing the documentation.

Electric drive & mobile maintenance
A haul truck that keeps returning for the same fault is a diagnosis problem, not a maintenance problem. Our OEM-trained team works through fault history and system behaviour to find the condition underneath the failure, rather than replacing the component and waiting for it to happen again.
